Chenin Blanc - Few and Far Between Washington Series

The grapes for this wine were grown in the Ancient Lakes AVA, just a 3 and a half hour drive south of the winery. The picturesque vineyard overlooks the majestic Columbia Gorge. Set high above the Columbia River in Washington, this AVA is known for its cooler sites and white grapes dominate the region. This is rare in Washington, and something we sought out when looking to make some white wine. 50 year old Chenin Blanc vines are also very rare, and we are so privileged to have the opportunity to make wine from a special block of these vines.
